Does TankBridge replace the sensor on my oil tank?
No. TankBridge is being developed to receive readings from compatible existing wireless oil tank transmitters.
Do I need to drill my tank?
No. The planned product sits indoors and does not require changes to your oil tank.
Does it replace my existing indoor receiver?
TankBridge is designed to operate independently of the existing receiver. Exact behaviour will depend on the monitor model being tested.
Will it work with every Watchman?
No. Compatibility depends on the transmitter generation. We are currently testing selected Watchman Sonic, Watchman Sonic Plus, Apollo and related models.
How do I know which model I have?
Use the compatibility checker or upload a photo of your receiver or sensor through the compatibility form so we can identify it before final purchase.
Does TankBridge require Wi-Fi?
Yes. The planned consumer version connects to a normal home Wi-Fi network.
Is there a monthly subscription?
Basic tank monitoring is planned to work without a mandatory monthly subscription. Optional advanced features may be introduced later.
Is TankBridge available now?
Not yet. TankBridge is currently in development and compatibility testing.
What happens to my £10 if you don’t build it?
The early-access reservation is refundable. If TankBridge does not enter production or your monitor cannot be supported, the reservation will be refunded.
Is TankBridge made by Kingspan or Apollo?
No. TankBridge is an independent product and is not manufactured or endorsed by Kingspan or Apollo. Compatibility references are used only to help customers identify equipment.
